"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
- We believe Jesus gave the church a mandate to speak the good news (the Gospel) to all people, through all means available, so that they might become His true followers (disciples, learners).
- He also told us to teach them to observe, keep, practice, all that He commanded.
- Finally, they were to baptize His committed followers. This is a public demonstration of the faith that a person has put in Him.
