Prayer for the Persecuted Church

To our sisters and brothers in Christ: We, Sandra and Kay, are sharing a prayer burden for the persecuted church. The LORD Jesus taught from the Scriptures, “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” While in prison Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus: “I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name…” He prayed that the children born of God would come to “know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge…” “If we are children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus.”—whom the Father appointed the heir of the nations. May the grace of God inspire and enthuse us to pray.
