We are about discussing the truth.  We believe Jesus is the Truth!  He said, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life;” (John 14:6).  Paul the apostle writes: “if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus,” (Ephesians 4:21).  We do desire that you discuss whatever is on your heart with us.  However, we will be doing our best to respond with truth, the truth as we know and understand it in the Word of God.  Stop by often!

  • Comfort & Strength

    Please pray for Gallatin County Sheriff's Captain Jim Anderson and his daughter. His wife and her mother died in a tragic boating accident on Friday evening, July 27. The 15 year old son also was lost in the river. Please pray that his body may be recovered. Ask the Lord to provide His comfort and strength to them at this most difficult season of their lives.

  • Scott - Boonville, Missouri

    Continued prayers requested for Scott and family in Boonville, Missouri for God to open up a door of better job opportunity for me right here in Boonville if possible. Currently working two jobs in Boonville because I am not making enough money in my primary job in order for it to be my only job.

    Biggest obstacles standing in the way of this being able to happen are my lack of qualifications for most jobs that pay halfway decent, a small town that offers very little in the way of decent job opportunities, and a wife who is strongly opposed to me taking a job in Columbia, which is the closest sizable city with more than 100,000 residents.

    I have sent this message out before to thousands of churches across the United States over the past two and a half years, and so I won't go into the details of how I made some poor career related decisions in the past and how that is still hindering me today, a quarter of a century later.

    I am asking that your congregation and prayer chains please be praying that God would open up a door of better job opportunity for me right here in Boonville since my wife is opposed to me taking a job anywhere outside of Boonville. I have been applying for tons of jobs in Columbia recently that I've seen posted on the Indeed website but haven't been contacted for any interviews. I am probably not qualified for most of the jobs that I've been applying for but I'm trying to do whatever I can to help myself, applying for jobs in Columbia regardless of whether or not I am qualified for any of them, hoping that maybe God would open up a door of better job opportunity somewhere but so far he hasn't. Simply stated, I need a breakthrough to happen in my situation so please be praying for that breakthrough.

    Praise the Lord that Jim, who is a pastor, had the strength to preach this last Sunday, July 15. This was after his heart problems, including the stints he received.

I came across this profound quote of President Ronald Reagan that is worth sharing:

"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We did not pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."

Why should we here in the U.S.A. be thankful? "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His mercy endures forever." And we are told in the Bible, "It is He that made us and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture." Let's not allow ourselves to fall below the level of animals as did the people of God addressed in Isaiah 1: "The ox knows his owner, and the donkey its master's manger; but Israel does not know, my people do not consider." Take time to thank the Lord for all that He does. And if you have not yet received the gift of eternal life, you may do so by accepting it as a free gift paid for by the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become sons of God"
